Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer
Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer, Eric Gewirtzman co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Ari Katz. Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Gewirtzman was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. While at Shadow, Gewirtzman worked at various corporations as a computer consultant, specializing in implementing computer technology in a business environment. Gewirtzman served as a software engineer in the Israeli Air Force. He was head instructor of computer programming and utilization at the Israeli Air Force Academy and the Israeli Air Force Officer's Academy. He also developed real-time simulation software for the Air Force. Gewirtzman studied computer science and economics at Tel Aviv University, and has an engineering degree in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering from the Israeli Air Force Academy.
Ari Katz, President
Ari Katz, President, co-founded SeaPass Solutions in 2000 with Eric Gewirtzman. Prior to co-founding SeaPass, Katz was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. There Katz both created and led the team of technology innovators in bringing cutting edge technologies from other sectors into the Insurance marketplace. Katz previously served as an officer and software engineer in the R&D division of the Israeli Army Intelligence, specifically with experience in secure transaction and information relay systems. Katz received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. with distinction in electronic engineering from the Technion, Israel's leading technological institute.
Sinai Zilber, COO
Sinai Zilber is a proven executive with more than 28 years of experience in the IT industry. He leads the Bolt operations initiatives, including: R&D, product implementation, HR and customer support, and he helps drive market growth. Prior to joining Bolt, Mr. Zilber served as VP of Operations for MaxBill and additionally held various positions at SPL WorldGroup, including VP Delivery EMEA and General Manager for SPL WorldGroup Israel. There he grew the practice from inception to $20M in Services revenue in 2002. As VP of SPL WorldGroup Israel, he spearheaded the establishment of the Services Division, and of the Projects and Consulting Division. Mr. Zilber holds a B.Sc. in Statistics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
Erez Katan, CFO
Erez Katan has 20 years of experience working with technology companies. Before joining Bolt, Erez was the CFO of YCD Multimedia Ltd., a software company that provides digital media solutions and applications, were he led the acquisition of C-Nario Ltd. and the sale of one of YCD business units. Prior to YCD, Erez co-founded and served as CEO of BVisible, a start-up company for email mining. Erez spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, six of those years as a High-Tech partner. He holds a BA in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University.
Tom Hammond, EVP Agency Operations
Tom Hammond is the EVP of Agency operations. Prior to Bolt, Tom was with The Hartford Property and Casualty Company for over 23 years. His experience ranged from development and direction of Direct Response Marketing, Operational Management, and P&C strategy. Tom was General Manager of the west coast service center operation with over 500 staff members in the operation. More recently, he was managing Hartford Customer Contact Center strategies and JD Power certification programs. Tom has an MBA and a BS Degree in Information Management from San Diego State.
Tim Attia, EVP Sales and Marketing
Tim Attia is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bolt. Attia has over 20 years of experience in the IT and Insurance industry. Prior to joining Bolt, Attia was the Worldwide Vice President of Sales for Exigen Insurance Solutions; a San Francisco based Software Company selling core systems to property and casualty insurance companies globally. Attia also held various senior executive and senior sales positions over 8 years at Camilion Solutions, Inc, a Toronto based enterprise insurance software company that worked with some of the largest commercial lines insurance carriers in the US and Europe. Attia was Co-founder and CEO of Ajengo that was a startup organization focused on product innovation for large commercial carriers in the US. Attia also held various positions over a 10-year period with CGI, a large global IT consulting and outsourcing company based in Canada. He held various positions that included Vice President of the Insurance Practice and Regional Vice President in their Toronto and Atlanta offices. Attia has an Electrical Engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
